•Bag Flattener Conveyor consists of two conveyors manufactured from heavy duty structural steel 
•The lower boom is powered by a 1 ½ HP brake motor at a belt speed of 120 FPM. The brake is to prevent reversing of the belt when the conveyor is de-energized with bags between the upper and lower booms
•The upper boom is powered by a 1 HP drive motor at a belt speed of 120 FPM. The upper boom is supported by 2 parallel arms which are raised or lowered by adjusting the air pressure in the air bags. Two manual 3-way valves are provided. The boom should be adjusted to the final desired thickness of the bag (6” between the upper and lower boom if you want to flatten the bag to 6”)  
•All belts are tracked by adjusting either the take-up pulley on the lower boom or the tail pulley on the upper boom
